Hi all,
This is related to Evan's comments, but slightly different. Every
time I sync with venge.net I have an (irrational?) urge to check
exactly what revs it will send. I say this might be irrational
because I am somewhat careful what I commit... but I still want to
check if it has been a while between the commit and the sync.
Is there any way to do this?
This is related to another feature request I brought up a while
ago. I was looking at setting up a "serverless" mtn. i.e. don't
have a specific mtn server, but rather use existing infrastructure.
e.g. use the "dumb" branch for publishing data using an existing web
server, and use email and "mtn read" for receiving data. The missing
link is a command like:
mtn pushfile server file
pushfile would be run by someone wanting to push to the dumb server.
It would connect and figure out what it the differences were, but
instead of sending any packets to the server, it would write them to
the file. The file can then be emailed and read in with "mtn read"
on the server.
Be well,
Will :-}
