Uhmmm, please, no.  You can't count on having constant Internet
access, for example if you are making changes on the plane over the
Atlantic.

Sorry, I was talking about the packages in pkgsrc, as Daniel brought them up with his comment (dunno if on purpose, or if he was talking on more generic terms even if using the pkgsrc names). I certainly don't want a configure script or whatever to fetch stuff from the net.
