I don't think this is remotely serious, but just to note that the
results of "make check" on my Kubuntu 8.04 system had this 3 fails
(i'm ignoring the expected fail results):
155 database_dump_load FAIL (line 23)
222 git_export FAIL (line 43)
223 git_export_rename_loop FAIL (line 30)

Of 517 tests run:
478 succeeded
3 failed
35 had expected failures
0 succeeded unexpectedly
1 were skipped
