I do not think you can use MonoDevelop with TFS 2010. I did some research on that and it came back negative. I am using TFS 2010 with MT though and this is done via VS 2010. I keep the project on windows machine and use MonoDevelop and Mac for building and running the simulator. I am quite new to MT, just evaluating at the moment, so I am not sure how it will play the long term. But, it looks like working solution. To go this route you need to make modifications to MT project type so VS can recognize it.
