I need to write this up as a blog post or something :( Novell got sold to Attachmate (end of April). Attachmate fired all the Mono* developers (Monotouch, monodevelop, etc). As they (Novell/Attachmate) have not put a support process in place, it's hard to get any word out of them except "we might be doing some support sometime soon".
Tho you might get _some_ joy if you call Novell (contact info on their website, I'd suggest trying the US number if you can and look back thru the email list, lots of info there). They DO have a 30 day refund policy tho, so I'm told. On the up side, Miguel and co have formed Xamarin http://tirania.org/blog/archive/2011/May-16.html http://xamarin.com/ ... to basically rewrite MonoTouch/MonoDroid/etc going forward, with most of the same team. It's underway, and the timeframe was said to be "3 months or so" - from early May.
