Hi Eric, I'm very sorry, but I don't think that MonoDevelop supports Xcode3's interface builder.
I'm sure by now you've managed to revert back to a previous version (sorry for the delayed reply!), but if not, I can try to enlist the help of a MonoDevelop hacker to perhaps figure out a way to revert the project file migration.
