Everytime I see a table I think of MonoTouch.Dialog @ https://github.com/migueldeicaza/MonoTouch.Dialog
IMHO much simpler than using Apple API and it comes with a great sample application that shows much of what it can do. There are also quite a few applications (and open source apps) that use it if you need further examples.
