If the book says 'create an empty project' you get something that does not resemble the samples in the book...
I bought 4 books and got a good start usign XCode 3 and MD 2.6, but once the community went over to xcode 4 and MD 2.8, i basically had to start all over again. For a novice who wants to learn using xcode 4 and MD 2.8, the books are virtually useless. If you have any of the 4 books and want to learn from them, i would recommend installing xcode 3 and monodevelop 2.6... which brings you to another problem, if you're a novice on Apple as well, you will have trouble installing xcode 3 on Lion... but it can be done :) -- View this message in context: http://monotouch.2284126.n4.nabble.com/Reading-Learning-MonoTouch-and-am-lost-tp3956022p3963867.html Sent from the MonoTouch mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ MonoTouch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/monotouch
