Hi Joerg, This sounds like a bug in MonoDevelop. I've submitted a bug report in our bugtracker here: http://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2529
You should probably add yourself to the Cc so the developers can ask you for further information and so you can track the progress.
