I actually had to do this for my App. I simply recorded a video showing the app working. We are not even narrating what we are doing. In the video you can see both the app and the result on the hardware we are controlling.
As for posting it, I uploaded it on YouTube as an unlisted video. The app got approved that way. Hope this help, Jean -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of jowi Sent: December-16-2011 4:54 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [MonoTouch] Review for appstore, Apple wants a video My first universal app is ready for the appstore, so i submitted it for review. The app is a remote control for a specific Pioneer plasma tv. Apple started the review, but now they want me to make a video showing the functionality of the app. I understand that, they don't have the specific hardware for it to test it. Has anybody done something like this? What is the best way to do this? Just take a camera and walk through the app, showing both the app and the tv in one shot? Would that be sufficient? -- View this message in context: http://monotouch.2284126.n4.nabble.com/Review-for-appstore-Apple-wants-a-vid eo-tp4203934p4203934.html Sent from the MonoTouch mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ MonoTouch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/monotouch _______________________________________________ MonoTouch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/monotouch
