you can put it in Documents and turn on "Application supports iTunes sharing" (Project options -> iPhone Application -> Advanced), then you can grab it via iTunes.
?'s are usually unicode characters which are not being represented in ASCII properly. Not had that problem with Sqlite-net, but I've seen it in the console output.
