Hi Chris,

MonoDevelop should definitely not crash (or break in any way) in this case,
so I will look into this issue.

Do you happen to know where the stale breakpoints were located? I.e. were
they beyond the end of a file? Or were they just in odd places between
method or something? Just trying to get as much info about the problem as I
can so I can attempt to duplicate it.
