I tested on an iPhone running the latest iOS and an 2nd generation iPod Touch running iOS 4 and I get the same crashes, while the simulator never crashes. Replacing all instances of UIViewEllipse with UIView fixes the problem; However I can't figure out what is wrong with the class.
