Some thoughts:

1. Assume it's coming as quickly as Xamarin can develop and test it
(beta channel or alpha, I'd assume). They want us to play with the new
shiny (and play with it themselves!) as much as we do!

2. Get the XCode beta down and install it. It's a seperate app, so it
doesn't mess with the old one - I'M TOLD. I have it down, but I've not
had time to play yet. I can't recommend using it on your fulltime
device tho... but thats up to you.

As MT / MD uses paths to various bits of xcode, you might be able to
repoint it, but waiting for the official version which handles it
might be better. You coudl experiment with the new api's in obj-c -
good time to polish up your obj-c, which is always a useful skill in
iphone app development, even if you are using MT all the time!!

Based on past betas, I'd expect things in days or week(s), not
month(s). But I dont work for Xamarin, so I have about as much info as
you do! A few of the Xamarin people are at WWDC (Michael (MD), Miguel,
not sure who else), so something may come out of that. On the other
hand, they may just be using the time to torture apple employees for
secrets....
