I am trying to use the UISplitScreen for the 1st time. It basically works
with issues. When I run it in the simulator against IOS 4.3, the master view
is always present in landscape like I would expect. In portrait, it is only
visible when I press the content button like I would expect. However, when I
choose a cell from the master table, my detail view is updated as I expect,
but the master table will not go away until I press the content button a
second time.

On my iPad 1.0, The master table is never shown unless I press the content
button, and will only go away if I press it again or touch any where in the
detail view. This happened regardless of orientation.

I've searched this forum and online with no success. I don't know where to
go next.
