I have not used it either.  As I understand it, by using the MonoCross 
framework, you can write one application, recompile it for multiple platforms, 
and get the a native looking application for each platform.  Like I said, I 
haven't used.  I keep saying I am going to dig into it, but never have.

I haven't used it, but from what I understand it's an open source MVC framework 
that works with MonoTouch.  I don't think there is any "official" tie between 
the MonoCross core team and Xamarin
