When trying to update MonoTouch to version 5.4.0 the process claimed to
fail while this update was not allowed by my license.

This is rather annoying:

1) If my license period is expiring, I'd expect a mail from Xamarin
informing me about this fact and about the cost to prolongate the
license. The idea would be to give me ample time to pay for it in order
to avoid update failures.

2) I've been looking around for a place or tool where I could view my
current license, including the period covered. I have not found such a
tool nor place (but maybe I did not look at the right places). Would it
not be a good idea to incoporate this info in the 'Version information'
tab of 'About Monodevelop' or just add a specific 'License Infornmation'
tab?

3) I must confess that I got frustrated and lost some time investigating
this, but eventually I restarted MonoDevelop (version 3.0.4.6) and
looked at the 'Version Information' tab.

Surprise: it claims that my MonoTouch Version is 5.4.0!

So did it fail or did it not? Is my license still valid? Would I be able
to submit apps with this version?

Please advise,

Guido
