Tucson premiere of Troma Entertainment's latest (and perhaps
greatest?) schlock-fest, POULTRYGEIST: NIGHT OF THE CHICKEN DEAD!
Featuring everything you could ever want in a Troma film,
POULTRYGEIST hits you right between the eyes with wild women, rivers
of blood and scathing socio-political commentary in its full-bodied
story of zombie chickens battling greedy capitalists and corporate
schmucks!
Lloyd Kaufman is the co-founder and president of Troma Entertainment,
one of the last truly independent movie studios in the universe. As a
writer, producer and director in the land of "Tromaville," Mr.
Kaufman has unleashed upon the world some of the most outrageously
twisted films to ever hit the silver screen, including such classics
as Class of Nuke 'Em High, Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D., Blondes Have More
Guns, Tales from the Crapper, and the beloved Toxic Avenger series.
He is also the author of several best-selling books and dvd's
exploring the wild world of independent filmmaking, including "Make
Your Own Damn Movie!"
With his latest directorial effort, POULTRYGEIST, Mr. Kaufman and
Troma Entertainment have raised the bar on cinematic insanity to new
heights, and The Loft Cinema is proud to be a part of the madness.
