M_Boats: safety in swage fittings vs

Follow up on the email on types of fittings used in safety, just how often do the 
fittings crack, apart from x-ray the fitting can they be checked with the acoustical  
machine that finds cracks in steel plate welding  . can the aircraft ratings for the 
strength  be the same.
