Hi, Bert!

I remember your name; are you sure it's been that long ago? Scans of the
old MONs are online at http://msog.org/mon/mon_main.cfm

Answer 1: Thetford 135 will fit (very snugly....some have suggested warm
water in the holding tank to soften the plastic a bit).

Answer 2: I've heard of people that have bent masts before, usually from
encounters with overhanging branches. If the bow is smooth -no hard kinks-
but significant, you could try -very carefully - straightening it by placing
the mast on sawhorses and applying controlled pressure with your hands. If
the bow is towards the bow, it will have the effect of flattening the
mainsail.

Subject: M_Boats: heads

Hello fellow Montogermy owners,
I owned a Montgomery 15, #280, about 12 years ago and sold her. Those
of
you who have been owners a long time may remember my newsletter articles.
I
think they were on canvas work.
     I have a few quetions:

1. What model # head fits the 15? Mine came with one, but it doesn't
fit in the "head pan."

2. My mast a bow in it which I hope was from being stored. It bows
somewhat forward, not side to side. Have any of you encountered this
problem?

Thank you in advance,
Bert Felton
