Whereas I agree that it sucks that the old forums got shut down, that's the
exact reason 
http://mooforum.com was made.

It's for mootools users, by mootools users.

The devs can focus on what they do, and everyone else has a forum.

Any kind of "official" or "unofficial" is a moot issue - post there, post
here, post both. I've seen some great answers and suggestions to people's
code in mooforums, as well as here, which is why I keep checking both until
more people go to mooforum and we let this list go the way of most google
groups as being a repository of spam and porn.
