I'm really not sure why your supervisor would tell you that because
jQuery has a no conflict mode and MooTools doesn't. I would go to him
and explain that and ask him to reconsider. I haven't tested this, but
you *might* be able to get it to work together using a script called
ProtoSafe: http://www.protolific.net/ and
http://ajaxian.com/archives/protosafe-eases-compatibility-for-prototype
