I don't know how well it would work for years; I think the interface would
require some scrolling ability. How do I choose 1980? How far back can we
show in a single row?
On a related note, Tom, I think we should move my Date.js into MooTools for
1.3.
And if this moves into git, we might as well add it to the MooTools plugins
if we're that excited about it (and then I wouldn't add it to Clientside).
