Does it happens all the time? If you open the page locally, will you see the ALT content or just when you try to access the page online...?
I guess there will be a small delay there depending on the rest of the scripts/content loading and then executing domready where you might be invoking the swift replacement.... The ALT content is there for which purpose? To exist in case there's no flash plugin??? Why not initialize it to ALT content if no flash available, and to Flash if its available????
