Yes, that would be possible but with quite a lot of effort - on top of
the SVG which one have to grasp (the lines attached to each thumb). I
was more thinking about a simplified version which would be used when
Flash is not available as the timeline is the only part of the page
which isn't fully unobtrusive - has no functional html replacement :-)
