Can the Scroller class work in a right-to-left text page

Hi I have set up a test page here:

http://www.ignitewebdesign.co.nz/mootools/rtl-slider.html

In IE6 if you hover over the image it will scroll to the right (as
style="direction: rtl;" is set in the css for that div)
In Firefox 3 it will not scroll.

It works ok in all browsers if the direction property is left to
default.

I am using mootolls 1.11 as this is going into a Joomla 1.5 site.

Any ideas why firefox will not scroll?
