Just curious - are you using a valid copy of IE6, or are you using multiple IEs version of IE6?
As well, IE expressions are essentially javascript - it'd make more sense to write that *in* mootools instead of mixing/matching IE CSS expressions with mootools javascript (See: http://www.robertnyman.com/2007/11/13/stop-using-poor-performance-css-expressions-use-javascript-instead/ http://stackoverflow.com/questions/516469/ie6-performance-with-css-expressions ) That being said, it works fine for me: XP Pro SP2 Version 2002 IE6.0.2900.2180 On Feb 11, 10:05 am, Michael Katzenmayer <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > after what seemed like several hundred update/reboot cycles my W2K > test system is uptodate now. > > Although IE *still* says it's version 6.0.2800.1106 (same as before), > the crash does not happen anymore. > > So the most uptodate Windows/IE6 combination does not seem to crash. > > What bothers me is that most IE6 users will probably still have the > old vulnerable version because they don't update their systems at all > (if they would, they wouldn't run IE6 anymore)...
