Yes, you are right. It should extend itself to iframe. It also does.
But the problem is it does after iframe's onLoad(). So when your JS is
executed, mootools is not extended itsef. You should delay it.

I tried this and worked. (In iframe)

function test() {
window.addEvent("domready", function() { alert("It works"); });
}
setTimeout("test()", 5000);
</script>
