Please have a look at my MooTools Class. It is extending Slider and
calls an Fx.Scroll container to achieve something like the apple.com/
mac product browser.

and an example by bluealien (with an older version)
http://www.bluealien.com/Scripts/Scrollbar/test10.html

At this point I am unsure about the best way to use options. For
maximum flexibility I have divided the options in three parts: for
Slider, Fx.Scroll and .tween() of the sliders-knob.

It uses some internals of Slider (i.e. this.axis), which if Slider
would change in the future I would have to rewrite. I could get around
this with copy/paste a big part of Slider.js into my Class. Is that
recommended?

If you have any bug reports or feature request please let me know.

At the moment i would like to get the syntax right and release stable
version 1.0

cheers
