Hekko Aaron,
i'am not sure that you are going to help me further but i tried to do
what you recommended
i have the following

   onShow: function(tip,el) {
   var coords = tip.getCoordinates(), t = tip.getSize(), styles =
{opacity: 0};
   styles.left = coords.left + (coords.width / 2).round() - (t.x /
2).round();
   styles.top = coords.top - 20 - t.y;
   tip.setStyles(styles);
   tip.fade('in');
   },

but i dont get a result. do you have one more hint?
