play with positioning to position the tip. in order to change the directionality you need to understand what i'm doing- the meeting point of 2 borders is diagonal. so by giving them a large width and making one of them transparent we get the tip. you need to identify what corner you are looking for and choose the right borders to modify. in your case its the top left corner
