I've just discovered a strange font effect in IE7. I noticed that the font I'm using looks different between IE7 and Firefox unless I cause the font to be redisplayed using fade out, fade in, then the font seems to be changed to match Firefox.
Check this out using IE7 (maybe IE8 too, I don't know) http://mootools.net/shell/9eNQY/ The original font, isn't bold, it isn't normal, I'm not sure what it is. When I fade out and fade in the font, I then get what I expected to see as a font that exactly matches what I see in Firefox. This seems to happen for font sizes < 16px and various font families. Any ideas or am I the only one seeing this effect (perhaps it's my computer)?
