Is FireFox HTML5 compatible? Thought only Chrome/Safari were

I have to take a closer look tomorrow (midnight here)... maybe it only
appears under certain circumstances.

I narrowed the problem down to html5 elements because it did work
before I replaced the divs with the html5 elements, stopped working
with them and worked again when I changed back to divs. And all that
only in Firefox (Mac). Safari was fine all the time.
