getComputedSize let's you measure the width + various outer-box-model values. It's been tested in IE pretty thoroughly. I don't have IE handy so I can't hit your fiddle. If you have a bug with it, open a ticket in lighthouse. If you can find a fix for it, that's even better. Send us a patch!
