Of course, my first attempt was a giant #fail for myself... the whole thing looked pretty nice (in Safari, Chrome, FF) with block level anchors and use of padding.. pixel perfect really. Don't have a proper pc setup with IE7 here, which might have been the problem in this case as a lot of users still used IE7 and I wanted to give those users to same experience as those with Chrome ;) I have to look back at the project though. Maybe my original post was/ is not relevant after all ;) I suggest we let it die.
PS > if someone has the ultimate fix for white space problem and inline-block, don't hesitate to share it. I've used a couple of hacks like font-size 0 for the parent etc. In any case, very Moo OT!
