Cool, I got the carousel. Regarding issues, I know where to find them
(bookmarked) and when I get better I'll try and contribute. The first
one I would look at is the problem with the waiter when using
requestHtml. I will be needing that, so I may understand that problem
sooner rather then later.

On the carousel, what would have to be done to it to be worthy of
being included in more or clientside. If you want to through me a
challenge regarding its functionality let me know. I am new to JS but
not all programing, I should be able to get reasonably good in not too
much time.

BTW Anybody else out there interested in the carousel? If so, I'm
open to a challenge regarding its functionality. Might be a good way
to learn and contribute at the same time. It may take me a bit of
time though.

I would think that SimpleCarousel would be super popular. Are they
cheesy to use or buggy? What's the problem?

Please, anybody respond, I would like to meet some people and hear
their thoughts.

In particular I would be very interested in reading about how you
learned to use mootools/JavaScript. What was your AHA! moment? You
know, that little piece of information/concept/analogy/metaphor that
pulled it all together for you? How do you conceptualize mootools/
JavaScript programing that you find helpful?

Usually the way I learn I can first actually know all I need to know,
and typically significantly more then what I *need* to know, but often
still feel lost in the whole subject until I can finally find a way to
conceptualize the material in a way that gives me a deep understanding
of how various components are related and interact. Then, and
concurrently, I try and practice/doing. Often I will produce a sort of
"document", similar to a mind map or concept summary of sorts. I'm
planing one for mootools and will share it when it's time. Almost
always after I hit that point I get very, very good. Until then
though, I always have this sense of feeling lost. Usually how I
accomplish this is by reading several texts, listening to, or reading
what others have to say and create my own "understanding". I need to
come at it from all angles, or as many as possible. I hope to hear/
read of your experience with mootools/JavaScript or even web app
development in general too. I would especially be grateful if you can
relate to what I am saying and take a few minutes to share.

Regards to all,
Rick

ps I never use Gmail so if you send me something there I will not see
it. I only have an account to go with my SE Xperia X10 android phone
(which I like very much btw).
