I think that the latest version of Firebug also includes a memory profiler.
To be honest, though, I'm not sure how useful it will be to you. :/ There
are also enhancements to about:memory landing in the Aurora and Nightly
channels, which might help you to see what exactly is going on -- i.e.
whether it's your app or Fx that's at fault. :)
