Basically OT: Thing that frustrates me about the localization myth is that at some point there's always hard-coding, since we usually create our own "dictionaries" of site-specific terminology and rare is the company that can localize their hyper-local idioms. Translators aren't usually UX people, nor vice versa... even translators of poetry (probably the closest you can get) don't grok marketing, information design, etc.... anyway, we do our best, eh?
