Hello Jack
Instead of using ONLY ONE corrugated cardboard, and a second
one, only after special requests, why not use 4 cardboards with all
shipments?
Give it a try, it will save you a lot of
headaches.
I personally use a minimum of 5 custom-cut corrugated
cardboards, with great results.
Best, Zeev

Subject: [MOPO] mopo/ to insure or not to
insure that is the question?
Two things fellow mopoer's and since it seems the bottom has really
dropped out of the poster market, I am selling quite a bit of items under $50.
One recent item a lobby set of Move Over Darlin' Doris Day went for 29.95 and
I charge $8.00 shipping and handling. I place my items in a plastic bag with a
corrugated cardboard and then flatten out a 025 usps box and securely tape the
ends using the plastic tape supplied by the post office. Now if I'm requested
i'll use two cardboard corrugated and sandwich the platic protected item
between them and ship as stated.
Now here's the rub. I "guarantee" a full refund if the item arrives
damaged. If it's insured, the parties have to deal with the postal autorities
which is apain in the ass. So either way the item is insured because it's
personally guarenteed by me (my feedback exceeds 650 with no negatives)
To insure means to wait in a long postal line and since paypal allows us
to print our own label it makes it all worth it selling at the low prices.
Who's right? Comments?
thanks
