I too am from the Northeast and remember those
days. There used to be a branch office in New Haven,
CT also. NSS was headquartered at 100 Broadway in
NYC. I used to go there often when I was in the city
visiting the branch offices of most studios that were
there in the city. We used to go once a month to get
our movie bookings hammered out with the studios
because back in those days you had to do a lot
negotiating in order to get a good deal when playing
their product. Visiting 100 Broadway was like being
a kid in a candy store. Anything you could think of
relating to moviepaper was there. Who thought back
then what that stuff was going to worth in the years to
come?? I wish I had today what I threw out back then.
