[MOPO] Some thoughts on EBAY as a Dealer

Please Read -- I Really Feel This Way!
The reason I hate EBAY is that it's an unusual business model (truly
very original -- I'll give you that) that has created a new working
class in America -- the EBAY seller. It used to be that there was the
employer and the worker. Often times when there were money issues
between these two parties a workers strike might occur (or the workers
might unionize) or the employer might go out and find cheap labor (in
today's terms read offshoring or hiring Mexican migrants, for example).
With the new EBAY model, there is the crass, horrible mega-corporation
and the sellers who are kind of like the worker ants that keep the
machine going and the greedy shareholders rich. Since the sellers can't
technically unionize or be represented as workers, it's probably about
time that they do something to exert their power to the mother
corporation. You know, one day with every seller boycotting listings on
EBAY would do a lot to get the sellers' voice heard. And I do think,
that between the listing fees, the special fees, and the EBAY fees, the
fees ARE exhorbitant! Here's to the SELLERS' UNION!
