I would like to thank all the list folk who sent me
email and greets about my heart attack & health issues. I am fine and
actually back to work in the studio. I have never been sick or in a
hospital as a patient so it was and interesting experience but not at all like
some of the movies I have seen.
Although one nurse named Marlene had the
voice and bedside manner of Thelma Ritter as James Stewart's aide du campe in
Rear Window. And one sounding exactly like Maria Ouspenskaya in
Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man, threw the lights on at 3:00 am
announcing, " Eet ess time to draw thee blood.." Yikes! And I did
have a spectacular drug induced dream--or was it real--of having a very up close
conversation with Doris Day and she is telling me about how it is absolutely
necessary that she save some chimpanzees and all I could think about is how
could anybody that perky smell so good.
Well, maybe it was like the movies afterall and I just
lived through it to make it to the double feature.
Thanks again for the welcome email and I do send back
genuine regards.
