It's an ad. Theatre trade journal magazines (Boxoffice, Motion Picture Herald, etc.) are about 12 1/2 by 9.25 inches. This "poster" is a two page ad "(12 1/2x 18 1/2)".

Maybe I am reading the auction wrong, but it says this is for a poster,
NOT for an ad cut from a magazine.
Maybe that's why he can get that much for it.
