This just in:
John Wayne, who died in 1979, is to be
honored with his own 37-cent U.S. postage stamp, to go on sale Sept. 10. The
stamp, painted by Drew Struzan, is based on a black-and-white publicity still
taken during the filming of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance in 1962.
