Exhibit to Highlight 'Best of the Best'
Barnegat, NJ From the popular to the strange, from the mainstream to the bizarre, Jim Episale has collected movie

posters and will present his latest free exhibit of Horror and Sci-Fi posters in his Gallery at Unshredded Nostalgia

in Barnegat, N.J. beginning Saturday, August 21, and continuing through November.

"These are original posters from the films that captivated us in our childhood," Episale said as he carefully

prepared each item for exhibition. "These bold images conjure up movie memories that were wonderfully creepy,

whether they came from outer space or from beyond the grave. This exhibit will feature posters gathered from

private collections throughout the US, Europe and Asia, and I'm presenting them so that fans and collectors alike

can purchase or just appreciate them."

The exhibit opens to the public Saturday August 21 at 10:00 A.M.. A special opening gala for the display will

be open to the public 5 P.M.. to 7 p.m., as noted area collector Episale again invites the community to learn more

about movie posters as collectibles during the latest of his free exhibitions.

This exhibit will be a special one, featuring Horror and Sci-Fi film posters from such classic films as "War of

the Worlds", "The Mysterians" and "I Was A Teenage Frankenstein" as well as memorable display art from several

classic fantasy films stated Episale .

Jeepers, Creepers, Get Ready for Goosebumps Unshredded Nostalgia will unveil the Horror and Sci-Fi film

posters as the latest exhibit in its metropolitan-style gallery area. Previous exhibits have included Animation Art,

the Foreign Film Poster as Art and numerous original movie, television and stage memorabilia displays spanning

the past 60 years. All visitors will also be able to browse selected items from those acclaimed showings, as well

as Unshredded Nostalgias inventory of over 250,000 rare, unique and unusual collectibles in the gallery and shop.

"I've established this gallery to afford the public a glimpse back into the past and to gain thoughtful insights as

to eras gone by," Episale said. "Here, you can enjoy browsing, asking questions and learning from these

works of art.  Some of the past  everyday items are now preserved for future generations to enjoy."

Episale opened Unshredded Nostalgia in Barnegat four years ago. Before that, he had shops in Stafford and

originally in Ship Bottom, which he first established in 1976, and for many years in Pier 18 in Beach Haven. But the

Barnegat shop, with 3,000 square feet and five rooms, gives him far more space to exhibit his eclectic display of

collectibles, and gives visitors  more to see and perhaps purchase for their own pleasure. At its present location,

Unshredded Nostalgia offers an array of desirable and highly collectible 17th through 20th century antiques, collectibles,

paper and advertising items including over 2,000 historical documents, thousands of photo archives depicting

Hollywood celebrities, musicians of all genres, sports legends and world leaders. Other items include first edition books,

animation art, classic magazines, legal and illegal casino memorabilia, antique jewelry, glassware and collector dolls.

Collectors, browsers and the general public are invited to view this entertaining and informative free exhibit located

at Unshredded Nostalgia, 323 S. Main St. (Route 9) in Barnegat, NJ., on Saturday, August 21, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.  A

special public reception with refreshments will take place between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.  The exhibition will remain on display
