Bruce,

So, we get to listen to your rants, but you don't have to receive ours? Hardly seems equitable. But of course, if Scott got it the way you want, you probably won't see this message... or maybe you will eventually, when and if you get around to checking the site for messages... but it certainly takes the fun out of replying to your posts. Seems like you'd rather MoPo worked like MoviePosterTalk where you can post without having to deal with any messy immediate feedback. I know, you're busy. So are the rest of us -- but isn't the real value in MoPo in the immediacy of the response-and-reply cycle?

Subject: [MOPO] MoPo: This is a test, this is only a test

Scott has altered my MoPo membership so I should now be able to post, but
will NOT receive the MoPo e-mails.  To view them I will have to go to the
site myself at
http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/index.html

If all works well this e-mail will go to all the members, and it will also
be archived on the above page.

It it DOESN"T work, then either this message won't be distributed and/or it
won't be archived, and Scott will have to go "back to the drawing board".

Of course, I imagine some of you will WISH my messages are never posted,
but that is a story for another time.

Bruce

P.S. Had this been an actual emergency, you would also have received
instructions on where to tune your radio for your local area.

P.P.S. Does anyone know if the "Emergency Broadcast System" was ever
actually used OTHER than as a test?  Does it still exist?  Do they play
those incredibly annoying tests anymore?
