Why immediately assume it's a rip-off? Why not email the seller and just ask any pertinent questions about the item that aren't addressed in the description? If the seller doesn't provide the information any prospective buyer might want then one wouldn't place a bid. The seller's low feedback is noted, so perhaps he's not as experienced in his listings as he might be.   These generic theatre posters were common in England (the printer is a well-known printer that printed many film posters as well as general advertising posters) and were used for repertory theatre productions. Travelling repertory theatres would have a set repertoire of well-known plays and would use posters such as this, and either over-print or hand-write their own company (as in theatre company) details and/or show-times.   When I was dealing in posters in the England through the 1970s, posters such as this would often turn up in theatre poster collections. England has a rich history of repertory theatre. In fact it is where most of the greats of British stage and screen learned and honed their craft.   But please, can we not just assume because it's something we don't know about it's a potential "rip-off"?
