Elmer Bernstein, Oscar-winning composer who scored movies like "The Ten Commandments," "To Kill A Mockingbird," "The Magnificent Seven," "True Grit," "Thoroughly Modern Mille," "The Great Santini," "Airplane," "Far From Heaven," and my personal favorite "Animal House," has died at 82.
