I have a question that I hope somebody familiar with ebay's 'square
trade' program can answer.
I want to buy an item from a person in France who I met through the
auction site. The item is not listed and I'm mildly afraid of fraud
since it's a two thousand dollar plus piece. I insisted on using
escrow.com since it holds my payment until I have the item. He says
that he's a member of ebay's square trade program and that they'll do
the same type thing. I went to the website and third party type
payments were not mentioned in my quick scan.
So, is anybody familiar with this system or does anybody have any advice
for me as to the safest way to do this deal? All help appreciated.
