Someone with more NSS expertise than myself might have a better idea, but don't forget that just because it has a number on the back does not necessarily mean it is an NSS number. I can confirm this! I just received in a blue ratings box halloween one sheet (pretty beat up by the way), no nss info on bottom (typical) just the GAU logo. However! Stamped on the back in big blue 1" block letters...... 78-736 also stamped "property of consolidated theatre services don mills ontario calgary alberta" very very interesting. It is believed that the Halloween posters that lack the NSS info. are from the the first year in '78 since NSS did not distribute the film the first time around. Those posters that have an NSS paragraph on the bottom are believed to be from later releases from 1979 and on. Right? O.k.? So why would this particular poster be stamped by someone with what appears to be an NSS number on the back. It doesn't say NSS anywhere....just that number 78-736.
